Our Events
RF(I)T events bring together people associated with us and many others associated with them…. These Celebrations infuse energy, a lot of joy, bring together people in solidarity, giving momentum to our work.

Bal Utsav
Bal Utsav, our Annual Children’s Day celebration is an educational and cultural programme for children associated with our Community Centers, community based activities, School Outreach Programme and children from Organizations associated with us.
It is more than just a culmination of all our activities with children through the year. As the name suggests, Bal Utsav truly becomes a festival of celebrating talent, learning and fun. We organize theme based cultural competitions, disability sensitization, group games, art and craft activities, health awareness and try to build a scientific temperament through interaction with prize winning projects from our Community Centres.

Pratibimb
Based in the commercial capital of the country, we organize Pratibimb every year to provide an entrepreneurship development, networking and marketing support platform for women associated with our Community Centres and our partner Organizations.
The event is more than just an exhibition-cum-sale of hand made products; it is a Pratibimb (Reflection) of the issues the Organizations work on and the struggles of the people who make them. It also means bringing the issues of the subaltern, of different marginalized communities such as the differently abled, mentally impaired and abandoned, farmers of rural Maharashtra and socio- economically vulnerable women to the larger society.
Exposure visits are organized and civil society is engaged with for health awareness and RF(I)T campaigns outreach.

Utkarsh Youth Development Awards
Our Annual Awards programme celebrates success of students and their families post the struggle of educating them. The Awardees become role models for the Utkarsh fraternity. The gathering has become a support group of sorts with meaningful exchanges amongst the Alumni and ongoing students. The Awards recognize academic achievement, perseverance of families as they struggle to educate their children and imbibing RF(I)T’s spirit of volunteerism and other values that we have tried to instill in the youth associated with us.

RCC Pratibimb
Our way of celebrating Women’s Day is by providing a platform for creative expression through dance, drama and skill based competitions and an opportunity for women to showcase their entrepreneurial skills through sale of products & services. We also organize a GO- NGO meet , which is an opportunity for different stakeholders in the community – other NGOs, Self Help Groups, Community Based Organizations , Police, the Government Health and Education Departments, Ward office representatives, Elected representatives, our Volunteer cadre etc. to come together to share their work and learn from others. The annual event spread over 3 days sees a participation of more than 750 women and children and footfalls of around 5,000 people.
